First let me just say that I am a huge Tony Robbins follower. His words build and heal. He is truly worth a listen. He is not into cuddling you but he will challenge you and you will grow.
So, last night it was about fear and the story you tell yourself and how that story either empowers you or doesn't.
What's your story?
I'm Gail (very much like Gail). Gail was a mother of three who felt a void in her life because her failed business and career aspirations. She complained that although she loves her family, she is just not fulfilled. Tony basically told her to get over herself. Her issues is that she was trying to please her dad. Mine was trying to take care of myself because my daddy didn't. Same result: wanting a powerful career to prove a point and discounting everything else (wonderful kids, good friends, great relationship, etc,...)
Shocking but true. My career is very much still important to me but I had to refocus on my motive and my method.
What's your story? (You saga, excuses, etc,..)
What's your motive? (The reason why you want it)
What's your method? (The mental, physical and emotional ways you are attempting to get what you want)
